Amelia Casiano

​​my name is Amelia Casiano. I'm an artist residing in Cleveland. 
In 2021, I was awarded one of the winners of “Signs of Our Times” design.
I also had my own art show called  "Limit Gold" Art Show in 2021. Along with a Cleveland Collaborative Art Show with local Cleveland artists.
My art is abstract,  modern contemporary and a mixed media.
Mixed media with various materials such as patterns,  textile, clothes, and drawings.
The materials are found throughout various places and the paint is layered. I tend to focus my paintings about womanhood, technology, dynamics in society, social classes and religion. My artwork delivers various storytelling in which I refer to as nostalgic day dreams. My artwork is very poetic in the way I use pictures and use bright and light colors. My artwork also includes postcards of random places around the world to show the diaspora of different cultures and people. ​
